"I was hesitant to book this hotel because I usually only book with name brands however due to booking late this was one of my only options for a Friday night stay. I'm actually really glad we found this hotel. As soon as we entered you could tell everything was kept nice and clean, and the front desk host was super friendly. We checked in and took our stuff up to the rooms. I did not like the smell in the hallways, it smelt like a musty, mildewy cleaning product but not in a good way. When we got to the room we realized that the main light switch was the only way to control the main lights in the room. That included the power and lights on each side of the bed. So in order to turn off the main lights you had to turn off the power by the bed too. Not that big of a deal but we were unable to charge our phones by the bed, we found an outlet on the opposite wall by the desk and plugged our phones in there. Inconvenience. The room was nice and clean and I really liked the bathroom. It is modern and a great size. I also really enjoyed the complimentary coffee and breakfast in the morning which starts at 6:30 a.m.. The breakfast set up crew was not the nicest but we did show up at 6: 15a for coffee only because we needed to leave by 6:25a for a deep sea fishing trip. Parking can be quite challenging so be prepared to park on the street nearby. The hotel does have cameras so they're able to keep an eye on your car as long as you park in camera view. "There were too many hidden fees. 1. The 'facilities fee' $25/ day was not disclosed in any reasonable way when booking my stay and not mentioned until checking out. This seems extremely inappropriate. 2. The only reasonable parking situation is valet service. $40/ day plus tips is a bit unreasonable. 3. Private beach area (part of the 'facilities fee' mentioned above) prohibited 'outside' drinks but we never found anyone serving drinks any of the times we used the area. Other than that, the stay was excellent."

"Enjoyed the swim up bar, the young lady that waited on us was amazing. The rooms were nice and all of the staff were friendly. The two negatives I give it were maintenance related. Paint on doors was flaking off and the elevator kept getting stuck and sounded like they were about to crash."
