"This is a fabulous property. A proper Japanese house with paper screens and tatami mats, but with a western main bed and a really exciting jacuzzi bath tub! The shrine next door is lovely, and although the immediate buildings are a bit industrial, the house is genuinely lovely to stay in. The bus route into the city is close by, and it's on the way to Miyajima."

We were able to check our bags for free in the morning, spend the day out touring, then grab our bags and hop on a train to the next city that evening. Super easy.
