"I choose this hotel because it was close enough to Sakae area but didn't know that the hotel is under renovation. So when we arrived, the lobby entrance was blocked. I think the big challenge was that I didn't expect about 8 - 10 min walk to nearby subway station. (in hot summer day, it's a challenge. We end up taking multiple short taxi ride and then connect to train/subway)
The room is clean with "eco" amenity you pick up at lobby. The coin laundry is a big plus as we change T shirts few times a day (too hot). The staff is friendly and helpful on dinner reservation, etc. This hotel is right at the edge from main shopping to business area so you have both options. From across street, you get cheap breakfast/food place ($4 a meal) to 6 min walk to Wagyu BBQ ($50 pp). Most of the high end place is 10 min away at the Sakae park close to the Tower landmark. So if you visit during Spring/Fall then it is a good value place to stay (with family).
Breakfast buffet is decent with Nagoya flavor but a little light on choice (compare other hotel I've stayed).
We were lucky the (German) beer festival was at the park that week so pretty much, that's where we were afternoon before a (late) dinner. Both side of the park are dept stores (Mitsukoshi, Matsusakaya, Loft, Chunichi, ...)
All in all, a nice/relax stay place for family that's quiet, easy but note for the walk to train station."
