"The Hotel's shuttle picked us up at the train station. There's not too much within walking distance. We splurged for the delux room with private onsen. It was fun to have a suite with classic Japanese flair ... bamboo floor mats, sliding panel paper doors, etc. Nice view of the lake."

They have complementary shuttles you can call using a cellphone available for guest from the Ogoto Onsen Station, and also scheduled rides back to the station. We had such a great time. Would definitely come back again to experience other seasonal courses."

The dinner and breakfast were both delicious, the breakfast being a buffet that had very many options in case you are a picky eater. Both of the private onsens were also very nice "

"Breakfast was great. You get a full meal with soup, onigiri, salad, and juice. Location is right next to Maibara which is really convenient. If you need additional food, there's a supermarket nearby. Rooms are very clean."
