"It was my 1st time staying somewhere as a solo young woman, and i couldn’t have been more satisfied with my stay! Here’s my story-
I booked about 1 week in advance and was surprised it was only around $75 for 1 night, as i’m used to booking a hotel with my bf at Hiltons.
I was worried to stay so close to the airport because i’m sensitive to loud sounds during the night. When i arrived, i was even more concerned bc the traffic outside was very loud off the main road; inside the lobby i could still hear some road noise. Then, walking upstairs to my room i could hear someone’s tv through their door so i was expecting to be disappointed… but as soon as i got into my room, it was completely silent!! I was so relieved! The A/C and fan sounds made it even better. And the window shades are extremely sound deadening too!
Overall i was extremely impressed my the stay. I did submit a request when booking to have a room away from the road (i was in an upstairs room in the building separate from the lobby), so i don’t know if i was there bc of the request or just happened to get that good room (facing the back lot and trees).
The only thing weird/wrong was, both the shower and sink faucet knobs are opposite to what it says for hot/cold, just push it the opposite way and you’ve got it.
Thank you!!!"
"Perfect location, my favorite hotel in Madison. I’ve been visiting 3 times a year for the last 3 years since my daughter has been at UW and I love this hotel. The governors club level is the bomb- with breakfast, drinks from late afternoon until late evening, appetizers and desserts. Very clean, comfortable beds, shuttle service do helpful. Will be coming back again. "
