I really liked this hotel, it was comfortable and had a lot of character. The only thing I did not like was the pervasive cigarette smell even though my room was non smoking and very clean. However I was able to open the window which isn’t usually the case and that helped.

Traditional Dutch house offering different design in every single room. No standardisation though (you could have the biggest or the smallest room) Bathroom is clean but tiny Personnel is really nice and helpful. Breakfast is simple but cheap (9,50 euros) Overall good

Perfect for a short stay

-Little room, big enough for one person. It is in a beautiful residential area, which is very quiete at night. The bathroom is also very small, but with a very nice rain shower. The night I spent in this hotel was extremely hot for the Dutch typical summer, the room had no air conditioning, but a fan was provided and it helped to fight the high temperatures. The centre of the village is few minutes walking distance. The lady at the reception was friendly and helpful. I did not have breakfast there, but she offered me a cappuccino before checking out.

Good stop

Family owned hotel, the owner was so nice and helpful, lovely woman. Booked a single room, room was very small on 1st floor without elevator. But the owner helped me with my luggage! Nice breakfast buffet.

Personable, attentive service. A charming small town, old school boutique hotel experience. No thrills but a great value. All essentials are well taken care of. Spaces, especially baths, are small by American standards but typical for old buildings in Europe. Quality is good. As everywhere in Holland everyone speaks English.

Lovely stay in Hilversum

The owners were very friendly and kind. About 10-12 minutes walk from Hilversum station, so it was a good location too. The room was clean and warm. Breakfast was also good.

Veldig rolig og koselig hotell ca 35 min med tog fra Amsterdam. Står det er parkering men kun gateparkering og det var ikke lett å finne noe ledig.
