"Stayed for two nights.
Pros:
-On-site dining was very good. Prime Rib was great and
breakfast the following morning was good.
-Staff was very nice and helpful
-Victorian Architecture was beautiful
Cons:
-Had third floor room. 3 flights of steps with luggage and every time returning to the room truly sucked.
-Room was small and hot Outside hallway/sitting area was very nice, and cool (AC unit was in hallway but nothing in the room)
-Cost of approximately $250US/night was way overpriced...

"We had the loft apartment above the carriage house. It was large, bright and fully equipped with anything we could possibly need. This property is located close to Lunenberg, which is a UNESCO site that offers everything a seaside harbor town could offer. "
"This place is excellent for anyone visiting Nova Scotia South Shore. Mahone Bay itself has a lot of charm and the B and B is located across the water and walking distance from everything you need.
Cathy is an exuberant host. She is incredibly welcoming and was very helpful as we figured out where we wanted to visit each day. My friend and I stayed in different rooms (the Captain's Quarters and Emma's Hideaway) and they both were comfortable and clean.
The breakfast was delicious and Cathy was great at making dietary accommodations.
