"When checking in, the first person i spoke with was brusque, and told me that the person who would check me in was at the other end of the bar, and not the person who I was talking to, who happened to be the owner/ manager of 11years. Just generally unfriendly, which I didn't need after a long car journey. "

"This stay at Blackthorn went above and beyond what I needed - some time and space for myself to write. In the comfort and peace of this hut in this location, I was able to write nearly 10,000 words, unheard of in my everyday busy life at home! The hut was perfect, the bed extremely comfortable with high-quality linens and duvet/pillows. Kitchen very well-supplied with everything I needed (and more). "I spent the most wonderful week at Little Lemhill Farm Cottage. The cottage is on a beautiful Cotswold farm, that is surrounded by beautiful gardens, trees and a pond. It's very quiet and relaxing. The cottage is beautifully decorated and comfortable, with the most heavenly beds and linens. Melanie is a wonderful, welcoming host, who provided a very helpful welcome book, chock full of great recommendations for restaurants and tips for the local areas. Her recommendations were spot on.
