"When I arrived, the office at Econo Lodge said "Open" but the doors were locked and no staff were present. The sign on the door instructed guests to go "Next" to check in. There was also a phone number to call if you had problems. After walking next door and finding it was not the right location, I called the number provided to find I needed to go to a Travel Lodge which was about a city block away. There I found out the office at the Econo Lodge was permanently closed, leaving no security at the facility. I also discovered I would need to walk or drive to the Travel Lodge for the included breakfast. The room was clean but the boiler heat had been shut off, leaving only the fireplace pilot light to warm the room. This proved insufficient as the temperature dropped outside, and I found myself trying to stay warm at night with the single thin blanket provided. As a result, I got very little sleep."
