"We were unsure about booking this due to mixed reviews, but with limited availability for a last minute trip, we did and were very pleased. Room finishings were kind of dated, but it was clean. Check in was efficient, and breakfast looked decent. Breakfast attendant was helpful and cheerful. I didn't care for the coffee (very weak) but no big deal, and there is a starbucks very close by. We had an issue with a slow shower drain, but they were able to come fix it without an issue. Overall convenient, I loved parking right near our room door, close enough to get back and forth to the car easily."

"We would love to come back! Loved the soaking claw-foot tub and b&w decor in our room. A few minor things: When we booked via hotels.com it mentioned a welcome gift with the room we chose (#11) but there wasn't anything. It also felt a bit like the place was left to its own devices... breakfast list mentioned yogurt, but there was none. However, there was oatmeal and coffee. The place was so quiet and clean. We met Eve (not the owner) who has the Apothecary next door and she was lovely! We were the only ones renting the night we stayed so we had the entire place to ourselves. Be prepared that there is nothing around. I mean NOTHING. So you'll have to take a short drive in to eat dinner etc., which was fine with us. Overall, a very unique place to stay! It felt like taking a trip back to the 1800s and LOVED not having any TV in sight! Sad to know it's up for sale... I hope the new owners will keep it as is."

"This is a no frills motel. It could use a little updating but the rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. There were not many choices of hotels in Ozark but this looked to be the better option. And I was correct to choose this one. If I return to Ozark, I will stay there again. The owner was friendly and the staff upon check in was kind and informative."
