"Location is great if you plan on walking every where. Parking is very limited, and very hard to get in and out of. Hotel maybe has 10 parking spot total. If you do not get a spot in the back of the hotel you have to park in the front public where traffic is always backed up due to red light and sight is very limited. It was one of those hope and pray nothings coming situations. On our last day we were awoken by beating and banging at 2:00 in the morning, found out cops were trying to get into a room. There is no hotel staff after 9:00 pm. Needless to say we were up and left the hotel at 3:00 in the morning. Other than that our room was clean and comfortable. Only room complaint is there was a constant light outside both windows so we couldn’t tell if it was still dark or morning light shining through. Unfortunately I will not be going back."

"They had a room that slept 8 people, the beds were thick and comfy and they had some nice outdoor furniture in the hallways around the pool so we actually spent a lot of time outside the room. My only complaint is there is only one bathroom in that big room and the bathrooms need an upgrade. They spent a lot of time updating the rooms though so everything about that was clean and nice. For a hotel this close to the beach, I’m surprised how clean it was. No sand or anything."

"Nice place but the room is very dated. The beach access at the pool has been removed so you have to go all the way around the hotel to access the beach. The beach bar has been closed due to renovations that have not even started. You can still get food and drinks you just have to wait for someone to come around and ask you. There is multiple pools so I think one should be designated for adults only. All that isn't bad but for over $500 per night we expected a lot more!"

"We needed a weekend away and this was perfect. An old country restaurant right next door, same parking lot almost. End of road, so quiet. Close to the interstate but not too close to hear it all night. I saw several long trucks and trailers park behind that country store to check in to the hotel. The room was perfect. The huge in room closet‽ Big enough that my toddler turned it into his own personal room with a bed and all. We saw where others said bad breakfast. It’s got bread, bagels, and muffins. It has cereal and oatmeal. It has one waffle maker. It has yogurt and milk and juice. Every morning it has a 2ft x 3ft counter space for something hot. One morning it was a crock pot of gravy for biscuits, and the other it was eggs and bacon. Huge selection? No. Did I leave hungry? Also no! Good variety? Yes. If you want a buffet or full course huge meal, stop complaining and go next door and pay for it. Just my opinion."

"The hotel was very nice and convenient to the beach. However.., the beaches were NOT GOOD..!! Very disappointing compared to just 3 years ago. Two looked like refugee camps and the entrance to the driftwood beach had stacks of busted concrete and so much trash. Water was the worst I’ve ever seen."

"A very nice stay overall. Towels at the pool-site would be helpful; instead we needed to take them from our room. Having chairs for the beach would be nice for those of us who have a rather difficult time getting up off the sand. Food at the "24" restaurant is quite good but the service is just so-so. Still, a very good hotel in a beautiful place!"
