"The hotel is a credit to the owner in every respect. My wife and I were on holiday to sample various areas of Germany. All staff were most welcoming and helpful. We only had one evening meal there but it was outstanding, and we have eaten in many fine restaurants around the world. It was the first stop on our holiday and it could not have been better. "Positiv ist, dass das Personal äußerst freundlich ist und das Zimmer sehr sauber war. Angenehm ist auch, dass man einen sehr großen Fernseher auf dem Zimmer hatte, der sogar Sky Empfang hatte. Alles andere ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Die Einrichtung wurde ganz sicher seit den 80er / 90er Jahren nicht mehr erneuert. Die Kissen waren wie ein Bezug befüllt mit sehr viel Watte. Man hatte ein bisschen Jugendherbergsfeeling. Die ganze Unterkunft hat einen komischen Geruch und im Restaurant riecht...

"The front desk clerk was polite and helpful. The view of Marburg Castle from our room was incredible! Unfortunately that was the only positive part of our stay. The room was tiny, the carpets were stained and gross and the cleaner knocked on our door before check out time when the “do not disturb” sign was on the door. The location is close to the old town, restaurants and shopping but I would not stay here again."
