"The room structure was very inconvenient and unsafe. There were logs of wood jutting out in the form of tables or something like that. And it was very hard to communicate with the hotel staff. Will not stay again. "

"It was a terrible experience from start to finish. The flat reeked of smoke, communication with the host was awful, and to top it off, there were large spiders. I reported the issues to both Hotels.com and the host, but the experience was beyond disappointing. Would not recommend."

"The communication from the management company was dreadful. I booked this place for my cousins wedding and then long after I booked I suddenly got a message saying they had accepted my cancellation (I was at work in meetings when i was supposed to have cancelled). This was despite being told when I booked that the booking was not cancellable. I then rebooked as it was one of few local options when it was re-advertised for more money. "Very nice place. Quiet. Got a good night sleep here. The guy who run this place where also very nice. Only thing is the stairs uppstairs is a litle dangerous for small kids. We put something infront of the stairs so our 2 year old wouldnt fall. If we go back to this part of germany we wil rent it again. "

"The property was very much work in progress the owner had just finished with unit we stayed in but some of the rooms were low ceilings upper floor made us bump ou heads. The driveway was full of work equipment which meant that our car had to parked in the road. No laundry facilities which was a no no."

"Lovely hotel. Great location by the train station. If you're looking for something in the city center, this might not be the hotel for you - but as a someone pass through and stopping in Basel for a night, it was perfect. Affordable for Switzerland. Very large rooms. We were there during a heatwave and not only was the AC great, but the hotel had ice and water. Very good internet (I had some work video calls and was a little nervous after traveling to some other hotels around Europe). Would 100% stay there again. Felt like it was a great find. "

"We stayed one night after a cruise. They picked us up at the airport but it was a little difficult to find them however they thankfully found us. We had dinner in the restaurant which was wonderful. they took us back to the airport the next day. Would definitely stay again if ever in the area."
