"Check-in took about 15 minutes, which wasn't too bad. Unfortunately, the first room had a very strong cigarette smoke odor, there was a white crusty substance on one of the chairs, and the bathtub was noticeably yellow. The staff did move us to another room, which was appreciated, but it still had a lingering smoke smell and there were holes in the walls.
The bed was not particularly comfortable, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. We didn't try the complimentary breakfast because it was very limited and consisted of grab-and-go items only.
Overall, based on the online photos and the fact that this property is part of a major hotel chain, I expected a much better experience. While the staff was accommodating when we requested a room change, the condition and cleanliness of the rooms left a lot to be desired."
