"If you are looking for a relaxing, home from home getaway then Villachad is the perfect place. The accomodation is quirky, clean and comfortable. The pool is a nice way to cool down . A bonus was having a beauty and massage therapist on site for some additional pamper. The cold and hot breakfast was more than adequate to start the day. Louise and Ernie are warm, attentive hosts with many suggestions of restaurants to visit and places to see on a short stay. Overall a great experience."

Steps to the beautiful Cliff Path walk for a morning or afternoon walk and 10 minutes by car to the center of town. Couldn’t be better located in my opinion. The entire staff is ready to help you with anything you need and fully interested in providing you a warm welcoming experience. The breakfast options every morning...

"We had a wonderful stay, was a long weekend away. Hermanus Boutique Guest House has a great location, walking distance to many shops and restaurants. great rooms too and friendly service. I I had to criticise I would say it can be a bit noisy in the morning when setting up breakfast if you have one of the inside rooms... But really a nice place we loved it."

She ruined the experience by kicking us out of the property at 11:40 saying that we cannot leave our car because the property closes when she takes her lunch break. We were told that she was new. "This is a friendly B&B that are so popular is SA. All rooms have great views of the sea and would offer excellent viewing during the season when whales are in the bay. It is also a nice walk into the town centre where there are plenty of restaurants. The room has traditional decoration which is well maintained and clean. "Pleasant stay but many nicer places in Hermanus. 10 minute walk to town. Owner was rather intense in communications. Parking not easy to get in or out of tho we were lucky and got the one more accessible space. Although spa and free bike rentals mentioned in Hotels.com information there was no sight or mention of either.on site . "

Also small but charming is the welcome room off reception with a decent complementary tawny Port on offer, and on Hermanus’s occasional colder evenings, a log fire."
