"Very bad experience. I drove 10 hours from Orlando to Greenville, SC to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday. When we arrived at La Quinta Inn, the room we were given was dirty. The bathroom floor and shower had nasty hair, and there was glue coming out between the bathroom tiles. I asked to change rooms, but the second room was not any better. The lamp was broken and the room had a terrible smell like rotten milk. Because of these conditions we decided to leave the hotel. I booked through Expedia and contacted them for help, but they did not resolve the situation and I did not receive a refund. Be aware when booking with Expedia and staying at this La Quinta Inn by Wyndham. Because of this experience, we ended up sleeping in the car that night until the next morning when we finally found a clean and comfortable room at Holiday Inn."

"Upon arriving I thought omg what did I just do lol but upon entering the office I was like okay so far so good. The front desk clerk 3rd shift was extremely nice and thoughtful! Once we got into our room, it smelled great! That's a big deal for us. I always bring my own cleaning supplies regardless but once in, I didn't need it as "another hotel". I still of course sprayed down the norm but it was very clean! Beds super comfy and had all amenities we needed. I would definitely stay here again and recommend!"

"Fire alarm going off at 2:30am forcing guests outside 3 consecutive nights in a row "

"We arrived at 4:00 pm. Once in the room, I ran warm water in the bath sink and discovered NO hot water. Reported this to the front desk - no problem, she would reset the heating system but I would need to turn on the shower hot water and sink hot water simultaneously. Sure enough, in 5-7 minutes, hot water began to flow. Great! Later, we went out to eat. When we returned, I checked again and the same thing occurred. Got it fixed again and eventually took a warm shower. The next morning, I got up and had the great fortune of washing my hair or showering in COLD water! I was in a hurry and just lived with it. Very disappointing! Also I visited the fitness room to find the treadmill not working properly and the elliptical machine was wobbly and never powered up despite being plugged in and verifying the power switch to be on. This stay could/should have been pleasurable but seemed to be a comedy of errors. I will say, the bedding was very comfortable, the room was nicely equipped, and the breakfast was quite good. "
