Just a 10 minute walk to the port, so if you are arriving or departing by ferry, you won't need a taxi. "We got the junior suite on the 15th floor and it came with a balcony view across the port. Quite nice. Room was very comfortable. Great buffet breakfast with an omlet station!! Had the best fresh honey too. Hotel is about 10min walk from the Lions Square and all the great restaurants. Front desk was very helpful and always arranged a taxi for us (upon request)."

Parking is available (EUR 14/night): you pause outside in the busy street, double-parking is normal, to unload luggage and the hotel staff will then take your keys and whisk the car away to somewhere else -- give 20 minutes notice whenever you want it back. "A lovely traditional house in a typical Cretan village away from the tourist hotspots. Our host spoke good English and was very welcoming and helpful. The bakery sells wonderful trays of Baklava which we enjoyed on our spacious roof terrace, a great place for breakfast too. "
