"We stayed for 5 nights. We moved from a standard room at the front corner of the hotel as it was noisy and claustrophobic. The en suite having been built into the corner of the room , so all the other stuff ie chairs table wardrobe were squeezed in. The poolside suite which we were kindly moved to was new, spacious had air con and walk in shower ,……. stunning altogether! Such a difference ! Could not fault it !!! It was so hot when we stayed, so made good use of the outdoor pool. Bar area had carpet that had come apart,… trip hazard!
Staff were excellent. Breakfast was lovely except occasionally ran out of certain items. If we are in the area again we would certainly hope to stay again. We enjoyed the vibe of Helmsley altogether."
