The room we stayed in was badly in need of remodeling. The carpet was old and the box springs under the bed were stained. The toilet didn't flush well. The overall impression was that it was and old and tired hotel. The room smelled clean and not musty at least. The staff member we interacted with was very friendly and helpful. With some remodeling and upgrades it could be a much nicer hotel.

Actual home cooked breakfast options vs cereal, day old bagels and unripe fruit. There was homemade cinnamon rolls, breakfast scramble with fresh eggs, ham, bacon and sausage with cheese. Homemade biscuits and gravy, waffles and fresh orange juice. The rates are very fair and rooms were nice.

The advertised pool times are inaccurate and the pool was closed early. I was also told the pool opened at 8am but the same person told a sibling it opened at 10am. Old uncomfortable beds that are advertised as queen but are closer to a full bed.

Polite and helpful staff. It’s really showing its age in the rooms. The furniture fell apart, it could use fresh paint and caulking. Take out the old carpet and upgrade the rooms. The parking lot could use repaving. The beds were cozy.

Try it. You might be surprised how nice it is.

The outside doesn’t look like much but the rooms were quite nice and the breakfast was amazing. Receptionist was very friendly and we took advantage of their recreation room by playing a game of pool.
