We felt very lucky to stay here. All the staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel is beautiful. We loved the courtyard outside our room as well as the roof terrace. Everything was beautiful. We also enjoyed the amazing breakfasts each morning. We did 2 tours arranged by the hotel and each one was very well organized and included snack bags and lunch. We truly appreciated the attention to detail.

Fantastic place. Super helpful and friendly staff and present owner. Arranged awesome tours. Amazing private rooftop garden/patio. Lovely room with every possible amenity. Alive was a great host and very kind and helpful, the breakfast is one of the best I’ve had in my travels, the room is super comfortable which was not expected from seeing the area around. It’s in a very run down area of Havana but do not worry it is super safe and I walked around at night so don’t let this put you off. There is some great bars close by and very friendly people

The accommodations at this property are fantastic. Wonderful room with amenities and room service. Nice public space and tasty breakfasts. The staff are exceptional - knowledgeable, supportive, and available to endure a great visit. The neighborhood is edgy and therefore colorful and vibrant but also requires street smarts. Everything is walkable though and you’re in the heart of Havana, not a tourism representation.

The restored mansion is phenomenal. The staff is customer service-oriented, and communication is one of their strengths.
