"Our room was lovely with great views of the lake. You could walk, cycle or run straight from the room. There is clearly more demand than the hotel can cope with for the restaurant. We were unable to book during our 3 night stay. Why doesn’t management open more options. They could also dot sun loungers around rather than having to go to the venue next door. Hate resorts that charge for spa usage. It should be included in the room rate."

"the hotel is absolutely gorgeous, beautifully renovated old military hospital, high ceilings, sympathetic materials, amazing glazed lobby, most beautiful spa i have seen for a long time. The town is quite nice but nothing very special, had few drinks in the lovely square which was nice. Art museum was closed till 2024? and townhall under renovation. "
