"The main problem was the pool. It wasn't clean/available. Everything else was great! "

"There is no beach front due to erosion. Ocean view? - the ocean was going under the motel. Could not regulate room temperature and windows would not open to catch the ocean breeze. Floor by entrance door was damaged , lifted, cracked and soft. Don’t let the website pictures fool you! "

"I always worry about booking a place that isn't run by a Superhost, or a hotel. You never know what you walking into, and whether there is anyone who can help. We arrived at 6:30pm. Lots of day light left, so no issues finding the place, or getting in. The WiFi was down, and we needed a blanket. Called the support phone number at 7pm. The answering service took a message. At 9am the next day (after we'd left, and been on the road for an hour) we got a text asking if we still needed help. Turns out support is only available 9-5. Service is 0 stars, the unit itself was clean, though some of the furniture in the bedroom looked like it suffered storm damage and was warped and cracked and should be replaced. Found a flyer for the unit, apparently its for sale. "

"The room was clean, the staff friendly and helpful. The parking was right in front of the room and the area was well lit at night. I will consider this place again when visiting the Outer Banks."

"We came out for our anniversary and had a wonderful time! The sauna and cold plunges were being repaired, which was disappointing, but understandable to service them in the off season. It was quiet and very relaxing and our text to the concierge was very quick!"
