Hathaway hotel rooms a the Independent

"Clean. comfortable .Odd entrance. Strange corridors. Unsecured entrance to building. Exterior does not reflect room."

"They need to get new linens. They were a gray dingy. Also new pillows. We had 2 different sizes. Would not ever stay here again."

"Excellent staff member! Friendly, efficient and even called to make sure everything was satisfactory in our room. He let us check in a bit early too. The place is older but very clean and everything works. Mic and fridge in rooms, fluffy towels, hot water, pretty quiet. I recommend!"

"The 1st room we were put in the toilet wouldn’t flush so we moved to the room next door. 2 beds in our room and one was really bad. It was where you would sit to watch TV and was terrible saggy in the middle and made it very uncomfortable to sleep in. There was no Kleenex in the room and only a half of a roll of toilet paper. The TV would freeze all the time so was very hard to watch. It is right next to the interstate off ramp but was pretty quiet. Also the parking lot was roomy and the motel was pretty full."

"Shower curtain could stand to be replaced in room but it was perfect for my little dog and I. The front desk man was having to deal with a cranky old man when I arrived. He remained very professional despite the guest speaking down to him in a very disrespectful tone of voice. Kudos to him."
