"Love this hotel. It is in need of some sprucing up in the rooms. Showing some age. The hotel has a charm to it that makes one want to return. Friendly staff. Terrific restaurant and bar. It just needs some TLC."

"My room was clean. Staff responsive. Breakfast and sundry amenities were better than the marketing shows. The parking lot is next to the building, but it's an open lot—not "secure" as their marketing claims. The marketing photos show the good parts of the hotel, and there are some. But there is more photo glitz than reality. The lake view is interrupted by a shoddy paved area, and the lake itself is unattractive. Don't book a lake view or anything on the first floor, since the window louvers (no curtains) aren't private. The general impression is that this is a budget hotel. OK for a brief stay. "

"Me and my husband came for a 1 night stay, originally we had a smaller room. The hotel upgraded us on them! The staff were kind and helpful. The hotel was definitely well maintained and worth the stay for Mother’s Day 😇!"
