"A very lovely B&B with great location, beautiful room, wonderful hosting from Karen and team and best breakfast I've had in years. Over three days, the breakfast was perfect. The bed too is probably the most comfortable bed i can remember ever
The Host gives great, heartfelt advice which is super helpful."

"We had a lovely stay in the Beacon View accommodation. It has a back deck with a superb view so we were disappointed it rained for the whole time lol. Perfect spot for exploring the South Downs National Park, or hopping to Lewes, or like us a day trip to Drusillas Zoo...."

"Hotel is a lovely old grande style. We had a seaview room that was enormous with settee, table and chairs, great views over the ocean and spacious bathroom so very comfortable. Only thing missing was a small fridge which could fit easily.
Good restaurant onsite. The buffet breakfast was good (a cheaper option not stated on the menu) as we don't eat cooked breakfasts.
The highlight was the evening piano bar with a great female vocalist (later in the week).
Staff were very good. Parking is fine via a Hotel permit but be quick we were booked while inside getting it!"
"Stained carpets and walls. Toilet bleached but poo still at the bottom. Damp bubbling paint on the window wall, windows missing locks/out style so drafty. General new paint job required - window white varnish flaked off revealing wood timbers, gloss paint also on the window panes. 1 of 2 lifts were out of order and the working lift was single occupancy. The view of the pier was very good from the room. Breakfast was fine, but nothing special, would be improved with a coffee machine offering more options not just black filter coffee which milk can be added to, also only one hot drinks table so service was slow due to queueing."
"Overall, we were satisfied with our stay at the hotel. The location was excellent, the room was clean, we were pleased with the heating, and the price was reasonable. However, we were disappointed to find that the room we were allocated did not correspond with the one advertised online. The photographs showed a room with large panoramic windows, yet the room we received had only two small windows, which was particularly disappointing as the window feature was a key factor in our decision to book this hotel. We also noted that the room did not include a hairdryer, which caused some inconvenience."
"The description says 'secure, on-site parking'. This is a lie. When asking the caretaker of the property, she looked confused, said there is no parking included, but that we could park on the street if we could find a bay. There is a multi-story that you can pay to park in a short walk away. So don't expect secure on site parking.
Otherwise, standard issue guest house - thin walls, thin mattresses and run down, but clean and cheap. The code to get back in didnt work which was a pain. The caretaker was lovely."
"The staff were lovely, especially the receptionist, she was lovely and helpful, very friendly.
The hotel need a bit of TLC, our room was very basic and stained carpets and the radiator hasn’t been dusted in a very long time!!
Brilliant to have parking and right opposite the band stand which was great to listen and watch from our room! "
