The room was tiny. There was no place to put your luggage except on the bed with you. On the floor you could barely walk between the wall and the bed to the bathroom. The towels were old and smelled bad as soon as they were wet. There was no shower gel/shampoo in the shower. We had a room with the kitchenette which had an electric kettle which worked, and the stove worked. Plates, utencils for two.

Positive: the room/apartment was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Our stay was short, one night and out the next day. We were within walking distance to a grocery store but most restaurants were not open for dinner in the area, which seemed odd. Negative; the listing gives the impression that this is a hotel, but it is more like an apartment building that has been a little run down. I’m not sure where ‘lakefront’ comes from but there is certainly not a lake within view at all. This was a completely residential area. A peek out the living room window shows a home a couple lots over with a rural feel to it but that is certainly not seen from the front of this building. Unfortunately, the restaurant and bar were not open, it was under renovation, and that would have been nice to know because that was our original plan for food. I don’t like to post anything negative about a listing, especially when our comfort level was fine. I’m only posting this note because the advertising differs from the actual reality.

We stayed at a room with type "Classic Suite, Private Bathroom" for one night in July. The room is too small for 4 people. Smell coming out from shower sink. The day of our stay it was quite hot and there was a vantilator in the room that was not working well and unfortunately the staff was not able to find an alternative solution. I must say the staff was very kind however this was not enough to prevent the bad experience. Not impacting my rating and we did not need it but the restaurant at the ground floor that is mentioned or shown in the pictures was empty/evacuated (not sure whether it is temporary). So there was no restaurant in that building, in case you would rely on it.

Das Einchecken funktioniert unkompliziert kontaktlos. Das Zimmer war groß genug für die Personen Zahl und das Bad wirkte frisch renoviert. Der Preis war angemessen, man kann auch spontan eine Übernachtung noch buchen. Zwei kleine Kritikpunkte: die Tür zum Bad war schmal und als wir ankamen war das Zimmer kühl und wir mussten es erstmal die Heizung anschalten damit es wärmer wurde. Dies könnte aber auch an unserer kurzfristigen Buchung erst an diesem Tag gelegen haben. Der Aufenthalt hat uns gut gefallen. Wir kommen gerne wieder und empfehlen euch weiter.

Zimmer modern und sauber mit guter Ausstattung, Zimmertüre leider ohne jeglichen Schallschutz (absenkbare Boden- und Ringsum-Dichtung fehlten), Badabfluss möffelte etwas - sonst gab es nichts zu bemängeln. Insgesamt gut.

Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt nicht

Die Unterkunft ist einfach, aber zweckmäßig. Der Check-in und Check-out verlief reibungslos. Unser Zimmer war sehr klein, aber für eine Nacht lässt es sich aushalten. Leider hat es in unserem Bad extrem nach Zigarettenrauch gestunken, was für uns als Nichtraucher besonders abstoßend war. Zudem war das Bad so klein, dass selbst 1 Person darin kaum möglich war. Vor der Unterkunft sind kaum Parkplätze vorhanden (nur 1-2), die aber alle besetzt waren, wodurch wir weit gehen mussten mit dem Gepäck. Der Preis war relativ hoch für den Standard, der geboten wurde. Da die Unterkunft aber sehr nahe am Holidaypark lag, den wir besuchen wollten, war es für uns trotzdem die richtige Wagl.

Man hat das Gefühl man schläft in einer verlassenen Kneipe. Personal ist weit und breit keins zu sehen. Das Zimmer hat extrem nach Rauch gerochen und war nicht wirklich sauber. Die Betten waren steinhart. Parkplätze stehen keine zur Verfügung, man kann nur die öffentlichen, kostenpflichtigen an der Straße nutzen.

Wir waren hier mit unseren Kindern. Die Schlafsituation war super und so wie vorgestellt. Das Zimmer ist an sich sehr altmodisch gewesen. Ein Fenster sogar kaputt. Bei jetztigen Temperaturen von 30Grad draussen, war es in dem Zimmer kaum aushaltbar trotz eines (nicht sauberem) Ventilator der leider gar nichts brachte. Im Bad könnte man im punkto Sauberkeit noch nacharbeiten. Parkplätze gab es wohl keine eigenen zumindest haben wir keine gesehen. Zu Essen gab es dort direkt nichts aber in der Umgebung fußläufig einen Supermarkt und Lieferservice sowie Bäckereien. Dort Ort selbst bietet da viel Auswahl. Im Flur gab es einen Getränke Kühlschrank aber der war leider nicht wirklich gefüllt außer mit einigen Energy Drinks und zwei Dosen Softdrinks. Eine Kaffeemaschine stand auch zur Verfügung. Fazit. Für den Preis den wir gezahlt haben. Haben wir mehr erwartet. Und würden daher diese Unterkunft wohl leider nicht mehr buchen.
