"This stay at Blackthorn went above and beyond what I needed - some time and space for myself to write. In the comfort and peace of this hut in this location, I was able to write nearly 10,000 words, unheard of in my everyday busy life at home! "The property was really good. Clean, tidy and well presented. My only issue was that the radiators were not as warm despite being on the highest setting. The bedroom especially was very cold. Another negative is upto now I have not received my deposit back. Surely you should have a system that works for returning deposits back. People are so busy spmetimes one will forget to check that the deposit has been returned back"

"This hotel was absolutely fantastic, as soon as we arrived the lady on reception was friendly and helpful. We were there for our 25th wedding anniversary and little things they done really made it special, some chocolates for us, a few glass of prosecco with dinner and 'Happy Anniversary' on our dessert plate. Food was amazing and all the staff are so friendly. My only negative was that you have to pay for parking, which if we were close to the town centre yes, but there is nothing around. But this did not ruin our stay"

"Stayed for 2 nights BB and couldn’t fault it, front desk were pleasant and alway helpful, along with the staff in the restaurant. Bed was massive, and comfortable. Everything you needed was in your room. This hotel is close to the park & ride, so very handy for getting in and out of Oxford, and last bus runs till after 11pm. "
