"Great affordable student accommodation. The space was exactly as advertised. The kitchen worked well, and i was able to prepare my own meals. Excellent wifi and plenty of outlets in the space. One of the best accommodations I've stayed in, and far better than even my own university housing."

"When we arrived we saw immediately that the sofabed in the lounge was broken and could not be used to sit or sleep on, this was disappointing as it meant there were not enough beds for us all. We contacted the owner and the next day a chap arrived with an airbed. We requested that the sofa be replaced but that did not happen. "We found the property clean but lacking, certainly not "Superb". The decor was sparse e.g. bare light bulbs. Negatives Bathroom: no mirror, no towel rails, only one hand towel in the property for three. Kitchen: Two sets of knives & forks for three, no large glasses or wine glasses, no fire blanket/extinguisher, no downstairs smoke alarm I could spot. Great Value for B&B. Convenient for Cricket.

"Possibly because it was for Sunday & Monday nights, our 2-night stay was exceptional value. Very comfortable dormer-style room across the courtyard from the main castle (glad we missed last week's mini-heatwave or it would have been hot - although there was a big fan provided). Excellent breakfasts with interesting choices as well as full English. Friendly and efficient staff. We didn't eat in the main restaurant this time but we know it's good; we just didn't feel our appetites could do it justice and it is quite expensive - good for a celebration meal though. We ate in town Sunday night then in the hotel bar on Monday - the steak pie, mash & tenderstem broccoli was excellent."

"We chose the hotel at random, knowing it was central and had on site parking. In fact it was the perfect choice for exploring the city. Close to all the historic sites, and easy walking to restaurants and pubs. The staff were very friendly and efficient - which made the stay even better."
