"I wasn’t happy it’s not a real hotel but that was forgotten as soon as I walked in. Beautiful room with an amazing hot tub and fireplace. I could have spent the whole vaca here. I relaxed and slept well. Highly highly recommend and will stay here again for sure!"

"Second time I've used this property and its good, lovely location and view all around. Due to its rural location theres nobody bothering you and thats nice when youve organised a party with ten men and three women having an adult fest. You can make as much mess to the bedding and in the bathroom and the hosts clean it up. Parking is easy next door in the empty restaurant. Hosts were helpful and communicated well. "

"The Sykes Cottages customer service is appalling. No number to ring and the response time to the text and WhatsApp is ridiculous. The cottage was great but Sykes were not. After booking I had a problem with amending the name on the booking and getting a receipt. I was eventually told it was not possible to make amendments but it was also not possible to do this on hotels.com. Also one of our party left an iPad and is quite rightly worried about. "Great welcome on arrival. Reception very busy but made my check-in as simple as possible. My visit was part of an extended business trip and the stay was a welcome R&R stop. Didn't get chance to use all the facilities on offer, but the restaurant provided a relaxing, enjoyable hour or so to unwind. Compliments to the Chef(s) the food was excellent and the attentive restaurant staff completed my dining experience. Will be making this venue a regular stop-over when I'm next in the area."
