"Upon check-in the manager was great and understanding! Very pleasant, customer service driven and very helpful and knowledgeable. He did meet our requests where possible (we wanted a king bed room on first floor). After getting into the room, we found glitter stuck to the carpet, curtains and random areas of furniture as if a liquid glitter bomb exploded, we did not complain, we were cautious about where we placed anything. Our room should’ve had a reclining chair, it did not. We didn’t complain, we just shrugged it off and thought it must’ve gotten broken. The toilet needs to be replaced as it doesn’t flush properly without flushing a few times while holding lever down. The A/C unit could use freon or a reset, it works just not as well. Everything else worked as it should. Our real complaint is when the hotel staff become argumentative of a service animal and how they think they must charge fees or deposits. ADA regulations prevent any pet fee charges (outside of damage), deposits and other expenses and want to dispute it with you, making false statements like must be with handler at all times (because I woke up first and took said dog out to relieve himself) and told me I am breaking the rules and regulations, which doesn’t exist within ADA laws. I had him leased and under control as he wasn’t working, he needed a potty break at 07:30 while the owner slept. PLEASE update employees of ADA laws to avoid confrontation with paying customers that know their S.A. rights!"
