"The Lodge on Harrison Lake was a delightful surprise. Not a hotel in the traditional sense, it felt much more like an Air B&B stay; there is no lobby or visible staff. Communication with the management was wonderful, and we received a text with the access code to our room, parking information, etc. The room was spotless, appeared recently renovated (though the building itself can't be very old), and was very comfortable. The suites are perched on a steep, rocky slope that hangs over the shore of the lake. Below is the very cool little sauna and a path to the fantastic geodesic dome structure situated on pilings over the lake. Down another path is a lovely area closer to the water, with a dock, a covered outdoor kitchen with gas BBQ and sink, and a fire pit. Firewood is available onsite for purchase or readily available locally at a number of places around the village. The views from our suite were wonderful, the bathroom large and pleasant, and the kitchenette stocked with fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, Keurig (with a selection of coffee & tea). There are utensils and dishes and even a little folding table and chair. The small balcony with two chairs would be amazing in warmer weather. The Lodge is probably two minutes' drive from the village proper, and was a delightful surprise for us on our recent winter getaway weekend. Highly recommended."
