"Great for a long weekend stay as there was room for me and the kids in a separate bedroom. The gym around the corner was excellent and available 24 hours. Location is perfect; we were able to walk to spark arena and to lots of shops and food outlets. Comfy beds and full kitchen facilities too."
"Stayed at the Grand Chancellor Auckland and honestly, the rooms were great, the location was spot on, but let’s be real—the true five-star experience was the bar staff. I don’t know what kind of magic training they’ve had, but I’m convinced they could mix a cocktail blindfolded while simultaneously solving world peace."
"We were staying here for the NZ Darts Masters so it was very convenient for the activities planned. Our room was large, modern and clean with a massive king bed. I was also delighted with the amount of TV channels available. It seems the trend for hotels to not provide many channels anymore and definitely not Sky but Sky City did.
The Sky Drive bus from the airport stops right beside the hotel and checking in and out was easy. I thought the $200 bond on my credit card was high though and I now have to wait to see if it is deleted.
Overall, it was great value for money and I would happily stay here again"
