Quality Inn Near Interstate I94

10/10 Excellent

"We had booked this room specifically to have a hot tub. We would be traveling the day of our stay. And getting in late. We drove farther than needed just for the hot tub. While checking in we asked is everything okay with the hot tub because we were going to be camping out there the balance of our night until they close it. The staff member pulled up the video feeding and everything looked just fine she said. From there we went unpacked changed our clothes to go down to the hot tub only to discover it was out of order. We were not happy at all went straight to the desk. The clerk then advised that it was not going to be available nor would it be until A later date. We asked if we can be comed something since the hot tub was not functioning. We were told unless we wanted to vacate the property that no refund would be provided. We asked to speak with the management to be notified they had left for the evening. We then asked what their shift was for Saturday. We were told they would be available from 8A until noon. When we went to go have breakfast and asked for the manager As when we were told the manager was not available she decided to take the day off. Things aren't looking so good for the home team because When we were in our suite we discovered marks all across our bathroom floor that were never cleaned up from previous occupants. We could see that the bedcloses to the door had a lot of wear does by looking at it. Come to find out both mattresses need to be changed out"

"I am from the area and was visiting my family. The Boulevard Hotel was right in the downtown area and within walking distance to everything we wanted to see. The best thing about our stay was the staff. Everyone was interested in their job and was happy to be working there. It was very nice!"

"When we first checked in the staff member at the desk told us that the pool and hot tub were open. When we came back after supper about an hour later, we found it locked for cleaning. The staff member did not apologize. The room had no desk. It smelled like someone had been smoking. They changed our first room because that smelled even worse. I would not stay here again."

"this property is solid, but lacking in comfort as far as the mattresses were considered, for me and my family. the carpeting in the room could used a little more attention. continental breakfast was adequate, but noting special. staff was good, no issues there but, we booked this property based on reviews and we saw 8.8 up to 9.2 at some sites, its barely 7.0 for me and my family. i would say a pretty solid 3 star, as it is really showing its age and the comfort level for a good night sleep was definitely lacking quite a bit."
