"Large hotels don't want to do gʻhousekeeping every day since covid . You have to request it or go pick up your own tolit paper, towels etc. Not at Brookside Cottages . We did not have to ask for anything they just did it like it should be. Clean bathroom and room. Very quiet . No body disturbing you. We were there for three nights as we went to the two day car show. For the price highly recommended, no bad surprises."

"The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast bakery items were fresh and the hot food was good but the same all 4 days we were there. The staff was friendly, especially the kitchen lady; she was very nice and would have a conversation with you. The coffee was always available and I enjoyed it. The air conditioning kept our room very comfortable."

"For an inexpensive stay over in Kennebunk area you can’t go wrong. Just a few short minutes from all the attractions. We road the Eastern Trail from Kennebunk to Bifford and then Saco to South Portland. The room was adequate and comfortable."

"We stayed September 10-13 for our anniversary. We had such a great time. We got there to check in and everyone was so nice and helpful. When we went into our cabin it smelled clean. It was very surprising we stay away a lot and the kitchen units were not to this standing. Our cabing was great for the two of us. We had a king bed clean and comfortable the kitchen was were stocked with all the comforts of comedies pots and pans silverware and utensils plates glasses and cups seriously like home. The grounds were very clean with a heated in ground pool. We had access to a grill and that looked brand new very clean.the area had a few things to do old orchard beach ocean views i love lighthouses so we went on a lighthouse hunt we saw 3 in the area. Very convenient shopping at hannaford plenty of fast food establishments. I can not say enough great things about the Elm Wood. The only negative thing i can say is the bathrooms are small. We loved it here and have plans to go again next year. One more thing... I have told our families and friends to go here in just saying that you know it has to be a great time ☺️"
