"Property on the water with beautiful beach views. Hotel clean and comfortable. Free breakfast when variety of food and changing menus each day. The bar staff amazing do not order from the restaurant. Chicken was not cooked. Hamburger was rubbery.Valet is great just not sure why we cannot use the parking garage across the street where they park our cars anyway. Its a bit expensive paying $15 dollars a day. You can go in and out as you please but if your kind like family each time a tip was given. Would i stay here again absolutely just parking and food was better."
"Well I would of left a great review but.. my son went to take a shower at 730 and I went to the pool. I was at the pool till 9 and my son didn't come down and he wanted to swim really bad. Went to check on him. The door to the bathroom got stuck and he was trapped in the bathroom till 9pm missed dinner because they closed at 9. He only had 45 with the pool. They guy came and got the door opened but it was left open all night. Two women in a room with a 17 year boy. Didn't offer to fix or move rooms. I asked to speak to a manager the next morning, no manager was there. Left my number because im 10 hours away. It's been days and no phone call. I'll definitely visit Virginia Beach again I'm probably stayed here again if some kind of solution was made or even a phone call. I'm a manager and you want your guests to come back this did not help for me to stay again."
Surfbreak Virginia Beach Oceanfront, an Ascend Collection Hotel
8/10 Good
"We found the facility and room clean and presentable. Parking directly in front of the hotel is limited but there is a parking lot with 2 blocks that you can park.
The only issue we have is that there was a huge road race with 2K runners on Saturday (the day we had to be out by 8:30 a.m. to go out to the airport). No one at the front desk told us that the roads would close at 7:30 a.m. Luckily, I asked a police officer who verified that the roads would close at 7:30. We threw out suitcases in the car and were literally the last car to leave the area."
Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Virginia Beach (Oceanfront)
10/10 Excellent
"Arrived early but was received with a warm welcome. Ricky at reception was great. The room was comfortable, the bed comfy and the bathroom clean. Breakfast had a lot of options and the fact service starts at 5:30am is great for an early riser like me. Coffee/tea was available at reception all day and night. Having the beach right out of the door is the best!"
"We didn’t mind our stay, but there are things that should be given some attention. The shower is very tight and toilet is in a very tight space. So Do away with the closet and expand
The rooms are clean and staff was helpful when we needed anything.
The beach view once you make it over the dune was awesome! lol Very clean and quiet!"
"I did not get the room that I paid for due to construction which they told me 2 days prior to check in. If I had known that I would have never booked "
