Rooms were very small and preferably for a married’s couple to stay there will bathroom behind a Glassdoor / wall facing the bed and toilet behind another Glassdoor. Check in was aktats in the bar,.self check-in which worked ok,.but at the same time brought down the overall impression. Bar was nice and location too.

The 'Nest' room was perfect for my stay as I spend most of my time out and about when on holiday. It was also bigger than expected and well laid out with plenty of natural light. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, but the hotel could do with getting better pillows. The hotel is very close to Stadthausbrücke Station (3 mins walk) which means you can effectively go straight from the airport to the hotel avoiding the busyness of the larger central station and an additional change of transport/walk in your journey. However, what made my stay most enjoyable was the friendliness and helpfulness of all of the hotel reception/lounge staff members. They were brilliant!

As a non-German speaker, this was a super easy and welcoming hotel. It has more hostel vibes (the check in is at the bar, offer for a free drink in lieu of room cleaning) but the rooms are totally luxurious. I got a canal facing room and highly recommend it.

Loved the property, area was good and within 10-15 minute walk to most attractions, public transport is excellent. Only concern was the room size so be sure to check before booking. Or room was quite small and had an “interesting” shower/bathroom layout. But was clean and nice (also provide a bluetooth speaker which was a nice touch). Like the hotel though and would stay again

Lovely room with a great view of the canal. With the heatwave towards the end of my stay, the air conditioning was much appreciated. Bear in mind that, at least for the room I stayed in, the shower was a glass box in the room so there's no privacy from anybody else in the room. The sink is also in the main part of the room rather than in a separate bathroom. These weren't an issue for me as I was staying alone. My only minor points of criticism are that the desk area was quite small and the only storage was in the wardrobe. For the breakfast, it was great to see lots of labelled vegan options and the barista-coffee was also much appreciated. Even though it's advertised as a continental breakfast, it would be good to see a hot vegan item given that there several hot non-vegan items (boiled eggs, omelettes and meatballs). Also, there was only 1 label for all of the bread which said they contained milk (since at least one of them did) which meant I had to check with the staff which of them were vegan. It would be better if the allergens/dietary information for each bread was labelled separately. The self check-in and check-out process was straightforward though it did require a few manual interventions from the agent as I had booked very last minute.
