Worth a stay!

Make sure you have time to sit on the terrasse overlooking the Elbe. The ginger lemonade is a bit too strong for my taste, but everything else is absolutely perfect! Well done.

Very Nice hotel in a fantastic setting. Restaurant, reception etc beautiful. The rooms are a bit dated for a 5 star hotel and no air condition so room was a bit too warm at night

This hotel is very special. It is located in a leafy, quiet and beautiful area outside the hustle and bustle of Hamburg. The room was huge, and beautifully decorated, on a lovely courtyard. The highlight is the Linden Terrace which looks out on the river. Stunning. Excellent food. Book the restaurant before you arrive as it gets full.

Wonderful location and property

I've enjoyed this property once more. The terrace is wonderful, and the rooms are comfortable and spacious. With the change in temperature, it was a shame that the room had no A/C. My main complaint was the amount of mosquitoes that came into my room in one afternoon. It was unbearable.

In connection with our autumn holiday, we decided to spend an extra night away from the center of Hamburg to enjoy some peace and quiet. Hotel Louis C. Jacob seemed to have a similar standard to hotels we like, such as Fraser Suites Hamburg, Steigenberger Hamburg, Marriott Hamburg, Privathotel lindtner hamburg, SIDE Hotel, etc. It is a dog-friendly hotel, so it came as a disappointment when we were first shown to a table in the restaurant for dinner, only to be asked to leave two minutes later because dogs are not allowed in the restaurant. We always travel with our little 5 kg Bichon Frise, who always sits quietly in a bag at restaurants. Since Hotel Louis C. Jacob is advertised as dog-friendly, we were shocked by such a negative and disappointing experience. Our room (No. 55) was very close to the road, and we could hear all the traffic noise, which made it impossible to sleep. At 7:30 in the morning, construction and road work began. We hadn’t slept at all during the night and couldn’t get any rest in the morning either. It was a poor decision to choose this hotel. It was the most disappointing experience we’ve ever had in Hamburg. We will check out as soon as possible to find a breakfast place that is nice and friendly for both pets and humans in Hamburg.

Wunderschönes Hotel direkt an der Elbe. Das Personal ist freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und bieten ausreichend Stauraum. Beim Frühstück bleiben keine Wünsche offen. Ich komme sehr gerne wieder vorbei.

Das Hotel liegt ca. 25 min mit der S-Bahn vom Stadtkern entfernt, mit dem Taxi zum Altona Cruise Center 15 min. Das Hotelpersonal war überaus hilfsbereit, service orientiert und sehr freundlich. Auf dem Zimmer war eine handschriftliche Begrüßung, wir haben uns sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Das Zimmer war sehr großzügig, sauber, stilvoll. Absolute Weiterempfehlung für Gäste, die nicht mitten in der Stadt wohnen möchten und Stadtvilla einem großen, modernen Komplex vorziehen.
