"Loved the large pool..multiple slides for the kids and plenty of seating. Beautiful grounds and nice condo style rooms. Close to restaurants and shops.. a great stay!"

"Room clean and staff helpful. Bathroom is small and has little counter space. Also be nice to have a microwave in the room. The air needs to be turned on before guests arrive so the room is cooled down when they arrive instead of walking into a warm humid room."

"Loved the view of Coconut Island and being able to explore near by. Didn't like the ripped/stained curtains for the lanai. Restraunt was excellent. Vending machine gave us warm sodas and ice machine didnt work majority of the time for the floor we were on."

"If youʻre traveling on a budget and still would like to experience the island vibe, I think Reedʻs Bay Hotel is the place for you. Being that Hilo does NOT have very many hotel options, they are either very pricey or affordable with very few in between, Reedʻs Bay Hotel has gained our hearts with our last stay. The view from our window was gorgeous overlooking the water on one side, the pool was clean and inviting, the staff was helpful and friendly and the location was absolutely convenient. Our only gripes were 1, there is no elevator so we had to walk up three flights of stairs, (but then again so do the workers who clean the rooms daily), and there is no AC which made it hard on my menopausing body, lol. On our visit the weather was gorgeous which made our room very hot. Fans were provided and so were blackout curtains but it was still hot. However, would we stay there again? Absolutely!!"
The Inn at Kulaniapia Falls

"Flies in the barn was an extreme nuisance. Uncut grass from cabin 5 to the barn was annoying. The falls was a amazing. However, be extremely careful if you take the short hike because the uneven rocks is a challenge especially if it rain (9 out 10 times it'll rain). Despite that, Jordan, Abby, & Cady (not in order) was top of line from hospitality, interaction, professionalism, tidiness, etc. & they wasn't ugly :-)"
