"We were met at the B&B by Mike, one of the two friendly owner/hosts, a lovely couple from South Africa. He made my husband and I feel welcome and at ease after a difficult drive through very heavy rain. We discussed Parrsboro, the theatre that night, eating as plant based vegans. Mike was knowledgeable, positive and immediately told us not to worry he'd have breakfast ready at their usual 08:30 to 09:30 time. He took us to our room, gave us a few extra pods of coffee and reminded us of how the keys worked. The room is modern with a queen bed, extra chair, wide tv with a few extras like Netflix, big bathroom with double sinks, bath and shower with 2 extra pillows as I'd requested on Expedia. Minutes from the heart of Parrsboro, The Mansion Inn was exactly what we needed. After a good night's rest, we were met with breakfast choices like vegan friendly mini pancakes stack and fresh fruit, a main course of avocado, mushroom, home made pickled onions on a toasted English muffin as prepared by Mike and his lovely wife. They have a glasses addition to their dining space which resembles a conservatory where one feels we're eating outdoors but spared the elements. The hosts are charming, their food delicious, the room quiet with its own mini spit heating and cooling, what's not to like. We look forward to returning."

"The motel is very cute with a lovely location on the Minas Basin. The rooms have been renovated and are functional. It's great to have a mini fridge, kettle, coffee maker, and microwave. We had an issue with our unit being double booked. The attendant on the helpline was doing her absolute best to address the issue but it took a while and was frustrating. It would have been nice if the owners has been more responsive. The other guest were very quiet and respectful. It was lovely to watch the sunset and to see (and hear) the tide come in/out. Despite the booking issue I would stay again and recommend."

"Had a lifetime experience at a heritage house. House has heritages characteristics with older furnitures and floor sounds. Hospitality in this place is exceptional, luggages being helped, amazing breakfast and music! Best breakfast we had in any of the breakfast included hotel and inn!"
