Hallbergmoos is in the district of Freising in Bavaria and has around 10,000 inhabitants. Take the S8 line on the S-Bahn from Munich Hauptbahnhof (main train station) and you will reach Hallbergmoos in half an hour. In 1831 it was declared an independent district. Hallbergmoos was expanded in 1945 with the integration of the newly built Goldbach housing development and it continued to grow shortly after with the building of an airport.
