"The hotel was in a perfect location to walk to all the sites. We didn’t need our car at all for four days. Very close to the wharf and restaurants as well as sight seeing attractions."

"This is a hidden gem of a property. Doesn’t look like much online or at first glance when approaching but rooms are updated, comfortable and well thought out. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Easy parking. And breakfast is a several notches above average hotel breakfasts. Location near chocolate lake is a plus- bring your paddle board or kayak for a relaxing workout in summer and fall. The chairs and picnic tables and gazebo in back is a great touch a relaxing morning or evening"

"We stayed overnight for a short 12 hour stay. At first we were a little uncertain as the staircase leading up to the second floor was a bit questionable looking. However, we got to our room and it was clean and looked to be recently renovated. Some of the facilities were dated, for example the air conditioning unit was quite old looking. However it functioned great and it cooled the room perfectly. The man who checked us in was very friendly. We also had breakfast at the attached restaurant and it was decent. Overall it was a good stay and close to the citadel and other local attractions."

"Room was large and well maintained, but hot af. There is no a/c, we were not even provided with a fan. It was unbearably hot. Staff are friendly. Check in and out was easy. I would stay again, but not during a heat wave."

"We enjoyed our stay at the place very much. Everything was exactly as described - clean, comfortable and thoughtfully prepared. We really appreciate all the little details (easy check in and out, flexibility regarding our check out extension request, etc) and had a fantastic time. We would be happy to stay here again and highly recommend the place to other guests!"
