"Lovely staff from check in, then ordering takeaway burger at their restaurant and then breakfast reception. The unit we had had 2 queen beds which I didn’t expect as we had only booked for 1 and it looked straight out onto Golden Lake which is shallow for such a long way that it is like a safe swimming pool, ideal for children. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone leaving or entering Algonquin park."

"Property is making progress to renovate common areas, reception was beautiful, the restaurant and bar was lovely, but some of the common areas were not just dated but grungy, wall paper in the halls peeling, washroom stalls in the pool area rusted, indoor pool area itself in need of repairs to clean it up, absolutely still usable though and we loved the sauna and jacuzzi hot tub!"
