"Our second visit, this time we travel with my daughter’s family and grandson. This is a few Onsen hotel that allows children to use their public onsen. He enjoyed this new experience and all of us have a great time to enjoy the facilities and fine Japanese dinner. Since this is my second visit, our family was offer free lounge access and late checkout. Something we did not expect. So thank you!"

"This is a great hotel with private onsen in each room. It’s right off the Chokokunomori station at the switch back on the road. A 5 minute walk. It is self check-in and was very spacious. Booked last minute and got a great deal!"

"The general public area of the hotel appears to have been recently renovated. While the room i booked was outdated, it was clean and spacious. The Onsen is the highlight, and it should not be missed. The staffs were extremely friendly and helpful, especially those at the front counter and the restaurant."

"The view of the lake from the room is extraordinary. It’s also very spacious, with a large balcony, kitchen and living room with a huge screen for viewing. The final plus is the in-room onsen/hot tub along with a sauna, with a view of the lake. It feels like a luxury unit for a reasonable price, especially if you have a large group. Wonderful place to stay and highly recommended."

"Booked only for one night. Wished we would have booked for another stay. Beautiful property. Utilize the free shuttle available from the train station to the hotel. Don’t attempt to walk especially if carrying luggage as there are steep hills. You will be asked to remove your shoes before entering hotel so make sure you have decent socks on as this is a shoeless property."

"This was the most pleasant and luxurious stay that I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. From the moment you walk onto the property to the moment you check-out, the staff are there to help you with luggage, check-in, settling in, and planning your days both on the property and to see the surrounding area. This property is located in the gorgeous mountains of Hakone an offers the most gorgeous views of the mountains right from the room and balconies where you can bathe in your private onsen. Also included in your stay are traditional breakfast and dinner which on their own are worth the price. This experience is nothing short of amazing and I would recommend anyone travelling to Japan to experience at least one night here."
