"Beautiful hotel with Finnish style and furnishings both in the common areas and the rooms. Our room requests were fulfilled and were ready even a few hours before check in which was appreciated. Great location in a central and elegant area of Helsinki walking distance to many sites. Great variety and quality of food at the breakfast buffet. We tried the on site restaurant for dinner one night and really enjoyed the local food dishes. The service was slightly slow both there and a few times waiting for a cocktail at the bar. The front desk staff were all very polite and friendly. Unfortunately on our last night there one of our rooms air conditioner units started to make a very loud intermittent noise which we would have tried to remedy had we had to stay longer as it was quite annoying to sleep with. Overall greatly enjoyed our stay and recommend this hotel!"

"Three small beefs: 1) The pumps for shampoo, shower gel, etc, are not reachable if you’re having a bath. Stupid oversight that should be fixed. 2) Our bathroom was smelly when we checked in but the cleaners are not equipped with air freshener of any sort— which is weird. We ended up spraying Downy anti-wrinkle spray for clothes around the bathroom and that worked OK but who doesn’t have air freshener?? 3) You can’t really adjust the temperature much— only by 2 degrees each way which isn’t much. The fridge is also not very cold— slightly cooler than room temperature."

"From check in with the wonderful Raphine who welcomed us warmly and explained everything, to the comfortable and clean room and bathroom and especially the fabulous breakfast with so many delicious choices, this hotel exceeded all expectations. In addition, the location across from the railway station was ideal. So very happy we chose this hotel."
