"Yes there is a bumpy 15 minute ride from the main road but the pay off is a tranquil environment to relax at Kili Villa. Our room had a lovely outlook to the gardens where local fauna and birds did their thing. The staff were welcoming and courteous, and the food was delicious. Perhaps the experience could have been improved with better communication about food and drink options when we arrived (with an explanation card). There are no other options for F&B in the area (aside from the golf club)...

"We were so glad we booked this brilliant lodge for the beginning and end of our amazing Tanzanian trip. Harry and his partner should be congratulated on how beautiful the grounds are, for how well furnished the rooms are and for how well run the lodge is. "Was here for a week. Mostly it is a bus tour/start of hiking hotel, but I was there for family reasons so maybe experience differently. Staff and service are amazing. John the driver and Dorothy stand out. Very clean and accommodating in terms of the infrastructure. Great (unheated) pool and lovely bar. I really enjoyed the food. Breakfast (included) was awesome. It is not quiet because of the roads, so if that is an issue stay elsewhere, but overall I really enjoyed my stay at Panama Gardens. The staff and service are first class! "
