"We are visiting from New York to Dubai, and jumped to lebanon for a few days and stayed at 1808 Laklouk for two nights. IT WAS AMAZING!
1- The friendliness and warmth is real and honest and impossible to miss. You get everything that 6 star hotels try to create: personal, special attention and genuine humanity.
2- The place is GORGEOUS. The house is a piece of art, the landscaping is impeccable, the mountains and the apple trees next door and nature and small villages are breathtaking.
3- The care and cleanliness is and maintenance is top notch. We even added a child late and didn't look at the rules, but they were so kind and accommodating and we were so touched.
Right now, it's impossible for me to remember a better place to stay.
PS: we came out of season (October) and it is starting to get a bit cold. Not freezing or anything, but it's definitely Autumn. "
"The room is excellent, and the service is exceptional. We took the room with the private pool and we absolutely loved it. The space where breakfast served as gorgeous and they sent dinner to our room which is so convenient. Our child absolutely loved the farm and all the animals."
"Fantastic little gem ! First the location is very accessible in Cheka … very close to batroun and short drive to Tripoli. 3 min off the highway.
Staff is super friendly and the bungalows are super clean and very cute. Breakfast was included and it’s very good. The pool is worm and very clean. The kids didn’t want to leave. The terrace is shared so expect sometimes to see a table here or there of people eating breakfast or lunch or even dinner but never busy. The pool is shared between the two bungalows.
The bungalows has one room with king size bed .. one room with two twin beds and the sofa can be opened and fits one. We loved it we would stay again. The staff is amazing "

"Truly one of the best hotel experiences I've had. Exceptionally clean, efficient check-in and check-out, and unbeatable convenience—just a short, easy walk to the restaurant nestled inside the souk. Everything was seamless and enjoyable. Highly recommend!"

"We stayed at this property for 10 days and was offered the room in the village and was in walking distance to the beach and salt water pool. The room that we were initially placed in was very spacious with a loungeroom and contained sandstone feature walls and ceilings which were not sealed and bits of sandstone was falling everywhere including on the bed, floor and on the lounge. After informing the property manager (Rola) about this, she was happy to move us to the room next door. This also had feature walls and ceilings but there was not one over the bed however the dust was still falling from the ceiling but not as bad as the other room. We received breakfast in our room every morning at whatever time we nominated which consisted of boiled eggs, labneh, cucumber sticks, olives, bread rolls and manoush. This was very filling and kept us full for most of the day. Room was very spacious with a loungeroom and TV, room was cleaned every day with fresh towels, bottled water replenished daily, a fridge and coffee machine in the room. Rola was very friendly and happy to attend promptly to anything we needed and asked for. I would recommend this property however the only thing I was disappointed with was the falling bits of sandstone from the ceiling. They need to fix this problem."
