素泊まりのハウスとして最高

ホテルサービスを期待せず、素泊まりのハウスとして、ロケーションはベスト。備品は最低限、シャワーのみの部屋ながら広さはゆったり、清潔。近傍（中央市街）徒歩7～8分でスーパー、若干の食事処もある。ただし店は散在している。又水曜なたは木曜は定休の店が多い。Check-in/out時以外は誰もいないが、出入りは自由です。

Not a very flash or modern place but has everything you need in a convenient location. Close to some good restaurants and a grocery store. The guy who runs it is friendly and offers free drop off/pick up from the airport. The hotel has lots of character, an old and rustic kind of feel. Much like a lot of the island. Overall I was pretty happy with the stay.

外観は古いですがローマの神殿のような大きな建物でした。部屋はきれいで過ごし易かったです。かまやつひろし似のオーナーの方は音楽をされておられるそうで壁にエレキ？が何台か飾られていました。音楽好きにはたまらないお宿だと思いました。帰りは空港まで送って頂き有難うございました。ゆったりと過ごす事が出来ました。

寝るところが確保されていれば良いとする方にはとても良いです。ロビーにレンジや冷蔵庫や食器などがあり必要な人は自由に使えます。ただフルサービスを求める人には向きません。自分で調べて自分で行動できる人には立地も良いのでおすすめです。

簡素ながら快適

2泊しました。空港から歩いて30分ほど。少し小高いところにあります。正面に東電の火力発電所がありますが、とくに騒音などはなし。外観は1980年代のポストモダン建築みたいで廃墟っぽい。部屋は二階で、きれいです。トイレ、洗面台、シャワーブース付き。冷蔵庫はロビーで共用。ベッド3台。エアコン付き。内装も家具類も簡素ですが、割り切って泊まるには十分だと思います。連泊中の清掃やタオル交換はないそうです。周囲にお店はありません。10分ほど歩けば飲食店やスーパーがあります。

どこに施設があるのか結構わかりにくく、到着するまで時間を要しました。車の止める場所がわかりにくかったです。施設の外観には結構圧倒されましたが、部屋は快適でシャワーやトイレ、洗面台は清潔でした。共有スペースにゴミ箱や割り箸、冷蔵庫があり便利でした。オーナーさんが色々教えてくれたり、夕食の予約をとってくれて助かりました。洗濯機が無料で乾燥機もあって大変これは良かったです。少し部屋で昆虫に遭遇したので、子供は騒いでいました。海や温泉はちょっと遠いのでレンタカーを借りるかタクシーが必要ですが、5－10分あるけばスーパーがあります。壁が薄いので夜は静かにしないといけません。

チェックインの時に会っただけですが、オーナーが気さくな方で、事前にメールでやりとりしてる時もすごく親切でした。 外観は皆さんがおっしゃるようにびっくりしますが、中は清潔に保たれており、お風呂はありませんが、シャンプー類も置いてあったりと助かりました。また八丈島に行く際は是非利用させていただきたいです。 お世話になりました！
