"Location is good. Lots of ants and insects in the room. Host was welcoming. But be aware of food cost. Ask price before ordering. We order seafood dinner for three. He made combination of fish, calamari, tiny crabs and few shrimp and charged 50 dollars(water for drink). We paid as we did not ask before eating. Then he came back and ask 800 rupees for driver’s break fast. We paid. A minute later he came for driver’s accommodation cost. At that point we said, NO. We stayed 2 weeks in Sri Lanka....

"Firstly the owner couldn't find our booking. This would be fine, but he was just unhelpful in resolving this, and came across as rude and indifferent. He kept just saying "I haven't got any money from you" or "you should call the company you booked through" (like no you should). "Love the service, location and the competitive pricing. There are cheaper ones out there for sure but the service here is excellent. Though you may not need the mosquito net provided, I used it and felt comfortable. There’s no AC but I didn’t need it as the temp was cool at night. I would book it again for sure."
