"It seems petty to mention the stairs when everything else was so good but they are an interesting challenge for the not so young. However Ann Marie and Henk cheerfully helped with my luggage which was much appreciated."

"The room was large and clean. The soaking tub was a great luxury. When we complained about the room being cold the staff quickly came up to show us the radiator controls and even brought up a space heater in case we need it. Needless to say we found the staff to be very attentive and gracious. The restaurant was informal but served excellent food that was well presented and prepared. The breakfast buffet is excellent. We will stay there again when we visit Haarlem. "

"Been coming to this hotel for 10 years and this time it s starting to get very old looking hallways and rooms need a good paint and not a fan of sitting on the toilet side ways terrible design "

"The hotel is about a 15 minute walk to the shops which mainly open late mornings on Sunday and Mondays. The room and bed were very comfortable with a contemporary feel and a mini fridge which was empty so we stocked with our own drinks. The room was quiet and the corridors softly lit with a relaxed atmosphere and we enjoyed a meal in the restaurant on the first night. Overall we had a very pleasant stay in the hotel and the staff we very helpful."
