"Got a room at the ground floor with an inner court window with iron bars and plants, facing the window glass of the lobby area, so possible to be seen by people there if you dared to drug the curtain for some fresh air or day light (not really possible at all) that made the room very humid and maintained smells from not being ever able to be refreshed or dry out properly after being cleaned. Other that that, spacious with a pleasant decoration, value for money, fine for a short stay."

"Hotel its self for a boutique was very good and for the price was very reasonable! Staff were attentive via the app. And each night you would get asked if you need anything. The spa and gym were very good too - not huge but was good enough for a short weekend break. Breakfast was mediocre- scrambled eggs were horrible and sausages tasted cheap so that is my only complaint. The rooms were clean only issue I had was mosquito in the room went to town on us so bring spray! It's close by to walk to the silema ferry port to take you to Valletta and you had shops and restaurants near by. Taxis via bolt and uber very cheap so get to st Julian's bay was like less than 10 minutes. "

"Room was well presented, clean and had everything you need. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. The facilities were great, the outdoor pool on roof has a great view, the gym also benefits from the view, some of the kit could use a service. The indoor pool was a let down, little more than a communal bath with couples snogging and kids tearing about and you need to duck to get in due to the low ceiling if you are above average height! "

"Big positive: Breakfast buffet in the Grana Restaurant. Loads to eat and drink. Full English or continental or both! Big negative: We went in February and the aircon was set to heat to 25°C (I keep my home at 18°C). I asked how I could turn it down and was told it's controlled centrally so not possible to control individual rooms, a decision which baffles me. Had the air con off the whole time, but it was warm, and we had an internal room so no air flow at all. I asked reception to provide a fan, but they said they didn't have any. Why on earth don't they let guests choose the temperatures in their own rooms?? "
